Permit Expediting & County Liaison

A permit moves when someone owns every open item. We track each department's review, coordinate the responses and keep a written record of where the file stands.

Who it's for

  • Projects stuck in “incomplete” or waiting on corrections
  • Builders who need a permit issued to hold a start date
  • Owners who want status without having to chase it

What we handle

  • Submittal and routing across planning, building, fire, public works and environmental health
  • Correction letters: interpretation, response coordination and resubmittal
  • Scheduled follow-up with reviewers on open items
  • Clearances, fees and conditions tracking
  • Weekly written status to you, your architect and your builder
  • Permit Rescue Sprint: a short, defined engagement for a file that has stalled

How it works

Four steps, each one documented.

  1. Intake

Send the permit or case number and the latest correspondence. We review the full file.

  2. Plan

You receive a written plan: what is open, who owns it and the next step for each.

  3. Manage

We coordinate responses, follow up with reviewers and keep the file moving.

  4. Issue

We track the final clearances and fees through to permit issuance.

What you receive

A single written status each week and a permit file with no unowned items.

Questions

Permit Expediting & County Liaison, answered.

What is a Permit Rescue Sprint?

A short, fixed-scope engagement for a permit that has stalled. We diagnose what is holding the file, deliver a written plan and work the open items on a weekly cadence.

Can you make the County review my project faster?

We can't change the County's queue, and we don't try. What we remove is the delay you control: incomplete responses, unanswered questions and items nobody is following up on.

Do you work with my architect or replace them?

We work with them. Your architect and engineers own the drawings; we own the process around them.
